Colorado's Tulowitzki named NL Player of the Month
clap clap clap-clap-clap, clap-clap-clap-clap, TULO!
Rockies to pick up option on Olivo
Well they better!
With runners at first and second and the Rockies down 8-6, Carlos Gonzalez just made an insane, possible game-saving catch off a hooking Buster Posey line drive. Had Gonzalez not gone all end-of-Space Jam on the ball, the Rockies would be looking at a 10-6 deficit.
PS: this is my 600th post… woow

NL West Report: All Tied Up in Knots - Purple Row
I would like to know how they come up with this shit? My head is spinning.
Man, Tulo and Cargo are hugging a lot lately, and it’s awesome. WINNERS! Keep it up!

Rox won 7-5, so they’re now 1 1/2 games back in the race for the West.

Rockies win 10th straight on Giambi's pinch-hit homer in ninth
Keep the momentum going!
Rookie's steal of home helps Rockies win seventh straight
I’m liking Chris Nelson. Stealing Home!! awesome.
Colorado Rockies President Keli McGregor Died in April of Rare Heart Virus
Viral myocarditis… what are the odds.
“Chacin retired 15 consecutive batters at one point, striking out nine in a career high 7.2 scoreless innings. He went over 75 pitches without allowing a hit. Nary a single Diamondback advanced past first base. Only one Snake reached via walk…The Diamondbacks never threatened, but the closest they came was on a deep drive to the left-center gap. Dexter Fowler made a catch eerily similar to the one that saved Ubaldo Jimenez’ no-hitter in Atlanta, though he landed hard on his ribs. After a five minute delay, he stayed in the game, which would become important later.”

I’m sad he’s gone, even though I’ve been continuously disappointed by his performance, it feels like the Rockies are losing a family member. Goodbye Hawpe.
“Brad Hawpe knew the moment was coming. But the end still hurt, felt abrupt. After Wednesday’s game, Hawpe, fighting back his emotions, said goodbyes to teammates and the training staff. After seven years, 118 home runs and a hit in his last at-bat Wednesday, Hawpe’s career with the Rockies ended.”

Yeah Rockies!!!
First grand slam of the season by Stewart, plus he got another HR in the 3rd. De La Rosa pitched well, all around great game!
ROCKIES SWEEP!
The Rockies sweep the Cardinals in one of the most exciting series of the season. 2 awesome comebacks, and then today’s game we led the entire time. All this while having some of our best players still on the DL (Tulo, Helton, EY, De La Rosa, Daley).
The Rockies are unstoppable, and now currently in 2nd place in the NL West, just 3 games back. Jimenez just got his 15th win, and we are about to go into a 3 game series against the Padres (from whom we are 3 games back). De La Rosa is off the DL and pitching tomorrow, so we’ll see how his recovery went.
The Padres have a great record in the MLB, but their record in the NL West is just 15-13, while Colorado is 19-15 with their record against the Padres being 6-3.
Now I’m not saying we’re the best team in the world (yes I am), but I’m saying we are overcoming some serious obstacles and still coming out on top.
Let’s keep the momentum and get some more wins!
