Jailbreaking iPhone 4 ios 4.3.1

Before you jailbreak, you must download the latest version of redsnow (redsn0w_0.9.6rc11) from here.

Also download the IPSW for iOS 4.3.1 from here.

If you are running Windows 7, you will need to right click on redsn0w.exe, select properties, click the compatibility tab, and select:

  • Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (sp3)
  • Run this program as an adminstrator

Then, when you double click it, go to task manager, click “show processes from all users” to give you admin control, then right click “redsn0w.exe”, select Set Affinity, then make sure only CPU 1 is checked.

iOS 4.1 Jailbreak to be released Sunday

It’s about time! worth the wait! I’m excited to finally upgrade to 4.1.

Spirit Jailbreak for Every iPhone iOS 4 on Its Way

Anyone on iOS4, including iPhone 4 owners, a jailbreak is on the way. Looks like the developer is holding off for apples release of iOS 4.1.0 which fixes the “signal bar” logarithm. 

I’m very excited for this release, so that when I get my new iphone, I can jailbreak and have free tethering. I can then jailbreak my current 3GS and sell it for over $300 (instead of having to revert to 3.1.3 and jailbreak).
