Done. You’ve blown it too many times.
Welcome to Colorado. You’ll like it better than Boston, I promise. Oh, and for your own good, drop the accent.
That’s what we call revenge. Now we could have used a couple of those runs last night… Let’s hope this is the start of a winning streak. We need it, and have been playing like CRAP!
It’s no surprise the NL won the allstar game for the first time in 13 years, did you think Jimenez would break his winning streak?
This is a good article, focuses mostly on Gonzo (calling him CarGon instead of Cargo), but does not mention the robbed Olivo.
“Gonzalez is meant for an All Star game, he’s flashy, exciting and plain fun to watch. The MLB could have at least let CarGon go deep a few times in the Home Run Derby—he would have done better than Nick Swisher, Holliday and some of those other chump performances.”
Jimenez is the starting pitcher for the NL All-Star team!

HOW ABOUT THOSE ROCKIES!? What a week!

That’s right, we’re scaring other teams.
Colorado is now ahead of SF, and 1 GB from LA. We are now 4 GB from San Diego (after beating them last night and the night before), and play them again tonight.
NL West Wins:
San Diego 45
Los Angeles 42
Colorado 41
San Francisco 40
Arizona 30
Actually, Pedroia played better. 3 homeruns!?! Well played… We still took 2 out of 3.
Conspiracy theorists that believe Jimenez is a robot can finally rest easy. He’s a human, and still #1!
Seems a little ridiculous. Why not blue hats, or blue bats? or blue socks? Don’t wristbands get in the way? BTW fridays are casual, everyone in the MLB wears jeans to work. Wednesday is Hawaiian shirt day.
