My thoughts on the Apple iPad
I was disappointed. It’s a big iPhone, which sucks because you still need another computer to sync it to itunes.
I envisioned (despite the rumors) a standalone tablet where you could have all your music, pictures, etc with itunes using the snow leopard OS. Instead, they kept the same platform as the touch and iPhone, which has the same issues: no multi-tasking, no flash, etc.

The free app features live streaming of all the president’s public events at the White House, Web chats with Administration officials, and other events such as the daily press briefings.
It’s pretty cool that the president knows how important it is to speak directly to the tech savvy. The app is free but I bet if he charged 99 cents he could eliminate the national debt.

Haiti Relief
Obama just announced that he is investing $100 Million for aid to Haiti including Coast Guard, military, medical aid, etc.
